Wind power with a local foundation

Wind power from Solvind is meant to be an important instrument for a secure future. It shall harvest from the nature, and be a positive contribution to the local community, without interfering with important values as biodiversity and untouched nature.

Our projects shall be developed with and for people - the goal is to create a broad understanding for the background of the projects.

As a step in this direction Solvind launched a new ownership concept in 2009 for small scale wind power projects called Plusskraft. The motto of Plusskraft is "A plus for you - A plus for the environment", and will give you as a consumer energy the opportunity to own your own power station and make an active contribution for a larger effort on renewable energy in Norway.
